Last night my DS fell out of bed and from what i can gather is that he hit is mouth on the bedside table.

This morning i have noticed that around the top of his right front tooth there is some blood i think, im not sure as he wont let me look.

He also says its wobbley but when he says hes moving it with his tongue i cant see it move.

I have managed to make a emergency appointment for him at the denist today at 11am, but i am crapping myself i feel sick and what comes with it sometimes (dont want to put people off there breakfast with details but you get the picture)

What can i expect what will the dentist do?
If the tooth is wobbely what will happen, can it be saved??

I really dont want him starting school with a missing tooth Sad

Help !!!!

My DS tripped and fell on the floor, hitting his mouth. There was lots of blood and his two bottom teeteh were wobbly. Went to the dentist who said that in kids they often 'reattach' and so we were told to look out for the teeth changing colour, which would mean that they have died. They were both fine.

Please don't panic, hopefully the same will happen with your DS. If not I guess he will need a crown or implant. In any case, it's not the end of the world.

Hi just thought I'd update you all.

Dentist said that it is wobbly, it might re set if left alone, but that if it did fall out it wasnt the end of the world, as the root was beginning to dissolve anyway so it wont be long before a new tooth would come through anyway.

still cant help but worry anyway. I have inherted my mothers nerves

DS is eating spagetti shapes in a very strange way, he has he head tilted to the size so the food doesnt go on the hurt tooth (as he says)

Also taking the smallest bites ever.
