Hard Lump under Chin

Went to the doctors today- noticed a lump on my nearly 3 DS just underneath his chin/jawline a few days ago.

Initial thought of my DP were hes been biten- tried to squeeze it but nothing. Not itchy although hes says "get off me mummy" when I touch it.

Anyway today went to the doctors- she examines him for a long time and is baffled, says its a hard lump and definately not a bite. She gave him antiboitics in case there is any infection. We are returning on Tuesday.

Im worried- anyone else experienced this?

Hes not been ill or off colour.

She still suffers regularly from the giggles, suppressed and otherwise, tomhardy. The chest chap guessed that she had moved during the x-ray, but hauled her in for a TB test for reasons too involved to go into (I said they were thorough).

oh i understand very dumb of me, sorry, I thought it was an oddly named condition.

It's a common condition in small girls. Smile

Hi. 2 weeks ago my son (6) fell on a rock and bumped his chin. It broke the skin and was swollen and bruised. Today the scab has fallen off and he asked me to feel how smooth it was now. Upon feeling it I noticed that under the skin is a hard lump, just to the side of where the cut was. Obviously I am taking him to the docs, but while I try endlesley to get an appointment, does anyone have any ideas as to what this is. I'm thinking peice of chipped bone and worrying about it at the moment. Confused thanks
