DD2 (who is only 6) has suffered with migraines for just over a year. Until recently they have been happening about every 3 weeks and we've controlled them with sumatriptan or nurofen. Howver, over the last 4 week sshe's been having them every 3 days or so Sad.

At her outpatient appointment today her doctor has prescribed pizotifen and also booked her in for an MRI scan. I'm trying not to panic about the scan (I'm sure she is fine) but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of the side effects and how common they are?

I understand they can make you drowsy and have increased appetite. dd2 is slim so eating more will be fine but I don't want her turning into a zombie!
