Ds 22 months, sweating on one side of his head.

My 22 month old Ds is wet with sweat on one side of his head! Only the right hand side his hair is really wet, his face on that side is red and sweaty too.

Any ideas as to why he would be sweating on only one side?

I have given him a dose of Calpol.

Its quite odd in the absense of any obvious cause. The nerves which supply the body and head radiate out from the spinal cord in this pattern of supplying each half of the head iyswim. But why one side would act differently than the other is a bit

He hadn't been laying down or near anything warm thats why it was so odd.

Since having the calpol it seems to have calmed, his face isn't so red now and the top of his head is dry, just slighly sweaty at the side.

I think I will just watch him for the next couple of hours and see how he goes, thanks again!
