Tongue tie release surgery for a 4 yr old - how long off school?

Ds1 starts primary school on mornings on September 7th and his op is 14th Sept (ie. a week after he starts school)

Does anyone know how long he will need to have off school? It's only day surgery so he will be home the same day and the surgeon has said he does the snip without using stitches.

It will heal really quickly and is unlikely to be particularly painful if they are doing it without stitches. I would guess at a couple of days tops he may even be fine the next day.
