Best treatment for mouth ulcer?

DD (3.9) has had an ulcer inside her bottom lip for four days now - we tried anbesol but it hasn't helped and went to get her some bonjela, but the pharmacist wouldn't let her have any as it's no longer considered safe for use in children? she's been doing salt water rinses for a couple of days, but if anything, it's getting worse rather than better? any recommendations?? she has had a couple before and they cleared up overnight with bonjela (before we knew she wasn't allowed it Wink - really don't want to give her it again)

thanks!

Iglu is good as it really sticks over the mouth ulcer which prevents the stinging. I think there is a bonjela with no asprin for teething available (teething gel) it contains a local anaesthetic but is not specifically for ulcers. Does numb well tho but not for long and stings (I used it the other day!). My bet is iglu Smile
