DS2 been seeing paediatrican about slow growth (possibly due to inhalers).I've been told that there is no link which is fine but what I found a bit unsettling wad that was also told that as Ds hasn't had an asthma attack for over 2 years to just stop using his beclamathasone to see what happens.I'm terrified. What does everyone think?

Thanks, think I will Pixie.

He has been having one puff twice a day and putting it up to 2 puffs twice daily when he gets a cold and that's controlled it.

Cons did say to stop altogether but I asked whether would be better to cut down gradually. He said no but then advised 1 puff daily in letter to GP so i think this is what i will be aiming for.

I think what I need to know is whether he can manage on one puff daily or whether this isn't going to be enough given how suddenly symptoms start. it might even be that he could manage without it at all when he's well and go straight onto 2 puffs twice daily at the first sign of symptoms. Really hope GP takes it all seriously and is willing to discuss it all. Tends to point to asthma nurse at first sign of asthma.
She's great but is wary of changing anything.
Ho hum! think am going to sleep on it.
