Should I be worried? I gave her some medicine and she's gone to sleep...

Hi - I can only speak from what a friend experienced recently. Both our DDs had chickenpox - probably mine gave it to hers having caught it at the CM's that they both go to.

My DD was fine - huge number of spots but no problems (she is 18mo).

Friend's DD, aged 3, had a tough time, resulting in the spots going into the ear canal and she ended up on antibiotics and has to go back in 3 months to have her ear drum checked!

She is now absolutely fine and there don't appear to be any lasting problems but I would certainly see if you can get her to the doctor's tomorrow. (We simply tell the receptionist about the chickenpox when making the appointment and they put us in a special consulting room away from everyone else!)

Good Luck and I hope she is ok.
