June 2010: We are recalling copies of Baby's first book (the boys' edition) sold between August 2008 and December 2009.
Why the recall?
The recall is due to a problem with the shiny green dinosaur spots on page 5. The new edition of this title, on sale from May 2010, is not affected. It has a fleece material instead of the shiny green spots.
If you own a copy of Baby's first book (boys' edition) please take it away from your child immediately and check page 5 to see whether your copy has shiny green spots like the one shown here: www.usborne.com/images/about-usborne/dinosaur-spots.jpg
What to do if you have the older style book:
If your book has shiny green spots, please contact our distributors, HarperCollins Distributors, for instructions on returning the book and being supplied with the safe new edition. If your book has fleece spots, it is safe to continue using it. Likewise, the girls' edition of Baby's first book is safe to use.
