Book for 5 year old mad about Bugs

Looking for a book for a 5 year old who is mad about Bugs. Want something with a good story and illustrations that will teach him something too.

I think there is a ladybird book called mad about bugs which would be suitable but it isn't a story though!

My son was given a lovely book for Christmas called Lulu is a Ladybird - a fun story and lots of facts about ladybirds at the back.

My 5 year old son and 4 year old daughter were given Lulu is a Ladybird in the summer. Its a fantastic book and they insist on it being read most evenings. I bought another 2 copies for friends but had to go on the website to get them. Think it was Bugbites. Think they might now stock it on Amazon too.

We've got a lovely one called Stewed Bugs and Onions that DS really likes. It's a story followed by info about all the bugs in the back.

We have a number of books about bugs from Usbourne Book Company. They are not stories, but factual books, but contain lots of interesting information. The only story book I can think of with bugs in is James and the Giant Peach.

Sorry, I tell a lie, we have a story book called "Beetle in the Bathroom" by Brian Moses. It's about a boy who goes into the bathroom and discovers various types of bugs doing some sport in the bath, on the loo, in the sink, etc. It's not that informative, but it's definitely fun!

Found the website for Lulu is a Ladybird. Its www.bugbitesonline.com theres lots of puzzles and games on there for little ones. Also the book came with an audio CD which has been a great hit in the car!!

Magic Schoolbus have a couple, one is called, Battle of the Bog Beast or something similar. Good stories and educational at the same time. I love Magic School Bus.
