Can someone give me a quick synopsis of what happens in Outcast?

I want to buy DS the next one for Christms, but we read these a while ago, and I can't remember which one we got up to!

Very brief - torak is outcast by the tribe because of the soul eater tattoo on his chest. he goes off on his own and ends up living by a dying lake.

Renn and Bale follow him. they find out that one of the baddies is Renn's mother. There is a big flood at the end.
