Will the human species die out mum??????

Anyone recomend a book for my DS5 who wants to know how the planet was made and if the human species will dye out and what my favorite marsupial is. Help! Anyone know of a simple version of the history of our planet?

This one may be a bit old for him, but it might be something you could look at with him.

I got it for my DS (10), and we have really enjoyed looking at it together.
