Would appreciate any suggestions - my DD (5) has been on the receiving end of some bullying behaviour (now all sorted) but I would like to help her build her confidence again. Have been recommended to discuss friendships and appropriate behaviour and being assertive but just don't know where to start with such a young child - can anyone help?

we bought How to be a friend for ds before he started school.

Book is basic, not much of a story line, but a good tool for prompting a bit of discussion, there is a section about "Bosses and Bullies", which basically tells you to stay away from them and tell a grown up if problem continues, and that bullies end up with no friends.

Thanks Lindax. Checked out the link, looks good. I will order at the library. Thanks for the recommendation.
