Raymond Briggs The Snowman - what age is it suitable for?

Haven't read it for years so not sure if ds will be too little for it (he'll be 3.8 at Christmas). He tends to enjoy books aimed at about a year older than his actual age at the moment

My ds was given it by bil last christmas when he was 3.2 and he really enjoys it. I wouldn't have thought your ds will be too young for it.

My ds loves books such as Aliens love underpants, Mr Men and the Julia Donaldson books if that puts it into context at all.

Sounds like he'll be just right for it.
