"where do babies come from?" book recommendation for 4yo DD

Just what the title says, really. I'd like to get a light, factual book for her about how babies are made and how they grow in the womb (I gave away my pregnancy books to my sister, or I could have shown her the month by month growing bit there).
I thought Usborne books would have been a winner, but they don't seem to have any.

Thanks in advance.

I really like Mummy Laid an Egg by Babette Cole.

There's a House inside my Mummy isn't really a factual book but it's lovely.

We got 'There's a house inside my mummy' before DS was born and it's still a favourite with DD, even though DS will be 2 this month!

I looked at 'Mummy Laid an Egg' but Amazon said it was for age 6 up, so I thought it would maybe be too adult for her. What do you think?

We got it when DD1 was about 4 (if I remember correctly) and she loved it, thought it was really funny as the illustrations are great. Some of it went over her head but at that age they just filter out the bits they don't understand anyway and take on board the bits they 'need to know'.

Mummy laid an egg is fab! My children like it - first got it when aged 4 and 3

My dd 4 loves Supermum and The World is Full of Babies.

Great, I'll check out Amazon again then.

'Where Willy went' is a great book, and not nearly as graphic as it sounds!

Kes Gray's "Baby on Board" is great. It's a story book but it shows the growth of the baby month by month. For learning about conception, you can't beat "Where Willy Went"!

There is an Usborne book which is very good, 'How are Babies Made' with flaps to lift, no less!

If you would like one I can order for you. I am an Usborne organiser and post free of charge.
