My youngest dd's nursery's is currently looking at the ocean and creatures that live in the ocean.

I help to produce a newsletter for the Nursery and we like to suggest books that compliment the current theme.

We have already thought of "Commotion in the Ocean" but wondered if anyone knew of any other good books about this??

there are a few Usborne books that are about the beach/ocean/sea - not sure of titles tho (their catalogue is online)

Can we play - Keith Faulkner - pop up
Where's that fish - Dan Crisp - interactive board book

snail and the whale is Julia Donaldson - another one by her about the sea is Tiddler.

DS loves my friend whale too.

My ds1 (5) has See Under the Sea which he's had for a while now and his 4 yr old sister loves looking through it.

secret sea horse is popular in this house.

here's an usborne one

DS3 came back from nursery with a sharks book yesterday (maybe DK or usborne?) but I thought it was a bit old for him (text too complicated).
