DS loves picture books such as Sir Charlie Stinkysocks or Billy's Bucket. He still enjoys his bedtime stories

He has loads of books but as I have a 20% off Waterstones code does anyone have any suggestions for books he should have?

TIA

My 6 year old loves the Fudge books by Judy Blume - they are fun to read or to listen to

Not heard of the ones you mentioned, is he reading chapter books?
My 6yo ds likes Roahl Dahl, Captain Underpants, Horrid Henry, currently enjoying Flat Stanley & Mrs Pepperpot.
I have stopped buying him fiction, we just go to the library, but he has quite a lot of non-fiction which he really likes - The Book People do good sets.

We have been reading Sir Gadabout to DS2 who is 5. There are a series of them

Jeremy Strong writes some funny books too although I think a few of them might be a bit old for a 5 yr old in content. Try the Indoor Pirate series though.

I would second Roahl Dahl

oh yes, forgot Jeremy Strong.
