Books with short chapters/stories

DD is currently loving a Milly-Molly-Mandy book. I think she likes that each chapter is a short story. Are there any other books with a similar layout? She quite likes some pictures and short chapters/stories. I have bought some 'Sophie' books by Dick King Smith and we saw some 'My naughty little sister' books today. Any other recommendations?

How old is she?

Am currently reading "Fantastic Mr Fox" (Dahl) to ds nearly 5,short chapters and a few great illustrations by Quentin Blake.Not really a story each chapter but is in small manageable chunks.We start on Georges Marvellous Medicine soon.
