Starting school - any books you can recommend?

DD starting school in September - any suggestions on books on the subject? Thanks

We got this for the dds. Starting School by teh Ahlbergs. It's lovely

My son's nursery used the Charlie and Lola one and also the Harry and the Dinosaurs one as well as the Ahlberg one. You can see them all if you click here

I've been reading Richard Scarry's Great Big Schoolhouse to ds1. It's become his favourite book and is good on letters, numbers, days and hours etc too

DD likes Lucy & Tom Go To School by Shirley Hughes, which is lovely and we're also enjoying Dinosaur Goes to School by Pamela Edwards. Can also recommend the Ahlberg one, just gorgeous.

I agree that Lucy & Tom Go To School is great. I also like Billy and the Big New School by the Anholts.
