We read so many books in this household, and I used to review books for a magazine, so I thought it might be fun to post the occasional recommendation! Tell me if it’s annoying though and I’ll stop!
First up, Best of All Worlds by Kenneth Oppel. A teenager wakes to discover his family has been transported to an unfamiliar place, trapped beneath an invisible dome. What follows is an unsettling mixture of science fiction, survival thriller and mystery.
It's pacey, really clever and quite thought-provoking, exploring family, freedom and what happens when very different people are forced together.
Thoroughly recommended for teenagers (12+) and adults alike. I raced through it!
