Funny read aloud book recommendations for children aged between 7 and 10.

Hello.
I am looking for recommendations for funny books that would be suitable to read out loud to 7 to 10 year olds.

I’ve got to read out an extract to a group of children and have been asked to choose a book that they would find amusing.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.
I know that Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates, Treehouse books etc are very popular but I would like to introduce them to something else if possible.

The boy that biked the world books are great. Highly recommend!

Joan Aiken's Arabel and Mortimer books are wonderful. Arabel's Raven is the first.

I can also recommend Mr Gum especially the first one.

Definitely Mr Gum, they were big favourites in our house.
