Book Recommendations - 6 and 8 year old boys

Any recommendations for Christmas presents gratefully received! All three like football and transport. One of the 6 year olds and the 8 year old have three older siblings, so more recent titles would probably be better. 8 year old has recently enjoyed Bunny v Monkey, the Investigators and Wigglesbottom Primary.

My 6 year old likes Dog Man books. He also likes the Biff, Chip and Kipper books with Floppy the dog in! He recently got an early reader set based on the How To Train Your Dragon film.

I second Dogman type books for 6 year old or 80/140 storey house books. Mine loves these. 8 year old maybe book about his favourite player. Nephew got into beast quest? type books at 8.

The Land of Roar series is brilliant for ~8 years.

The Superpowers series is great. I think by Alex Cliff. I enjoyed them as much as he did?!

DS6 just started reading the Captain Underpants books, I think they have a box set of books 1-8 that might make a nice Christmas gift. We’re also currently reading JKR’s The Ickabog together which he’s enjoying.

I’d recommend the ‘Press Start’ series for the 6 year olds, and maybe ‘The Misadventures of Max Crumbly’ for the 8 year old.
