where can i donate children books to?

i am facing the prospect of the unthinkable and thinning out the chidlrens book collection.

i am going to drop some off to the lady at the refuge, am just wondering where else might want books?

the ones at the doctors surgery get pinched all the time, so would rater they went somewhere where they're not likely to get all pinched in a day.

Its such a shame isn't it.

Does your school take any for book stalls?

I tend to give mine to the charity shops.

Homestart- always after toys for volunteers to take to familes they visit who's children can sometimes have no toys at all
