My DD is due to go to a birthday party today for a 6 year old boy. I've been told that he is a big fan of Doctor who so I ordered this book for him:

I arrived this morning [relief] but now that I look at it I'm not sure how suitable it is for a 6 year old. It has lots of picture, but the text is fairly small, and closely typed.
Do any of you have this book? Would it be totally unsuitable for a 6 year old?
Or more generally, does that sound like the sort of thing that would be appropriate for a 6 year old. My own DD is 5, and I'm not sure how quickly they improve in reading, IYSWIM.
