(Knowledge) Would or your children have in the house, even if you have the internet do you have Collins Gem, old Pears' Cyclopedia

Just asking in general really, not sure what other topic to post under but adult or children's books all fine

I never owned any when I was young, we used to just go to the library every Saturday

I've only recently thrown out my childhood Britannica Encyclopedia set but i still have the dictionaries (large and pocketbook) and thesaurus. Oh and a child's world atlas A3 sized book (also thrown). We also had multiple pocket-sized books about birds, trees, plants, insects, butterflies, fossils.

Otherwise it was Enid Blyton, Beatrix Potter, Austin sisters etc with weekly visits to the library in town. I never got any non-fiction out.
