Not read it but would like to...have you ? would it be good for soon to be 11 yr old ds ?

I have just finished it. Second book to ever make me cry. Was a brilliant read.

Not really sure about your 11 year old being old enough to read it, I would have thought so (my DC's are only 5 and 2 so hard for me to gauge). Would he read Harry Potter yet?

he doesn't have any inclination to read Harry Potter but has read most of Michael Morpurgo

great book. I'd have thought he'd cope ok if he has read the Micheal Morpurgo ones.
