Things I can read with her, early chapter books (similar level to Isadora Moon) she can read herself, older picture books, non fiction with lots of pictures, poetry books.

Please tell me anything you’d recommend!

She loves the following: Worst Witch, Daisy & The Trouble With, Roald Dahl, Isadora Moon etc, Holly Webb Kitten Books.

Thanks!

My nearly 6 year old loves the Zoe Rescue Zoo series - about a girl whose uncle owns a zoo that rescues animals from around the world. Each book is based on a new animal that comes to live at the zoo. They do some winter animals (polar bear, penguin) so one might be good to try at Xmas

Currently reading Elspeth Hart and the school for show offs, but im a bit unsure on it currently.

Same author of Isadora Moon also writes books about Mirabelle the witch and Enerald the mermaid.

I really enjoyed reading the toto the ninja cat series by Dermot O'Leary with older dd when she was 7

Zoe’s Rescue Zoo is an excellent shout, thank you!

The boy who grew dragons series is awesome. Have you read the Mirabelle books (Isadora Moon's naughty cousin)? The Sea Keepers books are pretty good though a bit samey.

Either the Ottoline or the Goth Girl series by Chris Riddell. Beautifully produced and illustrated. Re-read value too, as they will get more of the jokes when they're older.

Came here to ask exactly the same question! Will check out some of the above.

Mine loved The Naughtiest Unicorn books
