Suggestion for similar kids book

Can anyone suggest a series of books or individual books similar in reading difficulty to the Wigglesbottom Primary books? Chapter books with big words, pictures and a page of large font text.

Diary of a wimpy kid?
Some of the shorter Roald Dahl stories?
Mathilda?
George’s marvelous medicine?

Pugly books and the Claude series are great.

Has she read the Emerald the Mermaid series? It’s a spin-off series to Isadora Moon, by the same author.
