Have you tried graphic novels?
My daughter reads the sweet valley high ones. There’s also Guts, Smile and a whole new range of babysitters books- all graphic novels. My daughter’s year loves them.

Classics to try that my DD enjoyed around that age are Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, Mallory Towers.

Sophie Ibbotson writes well and there are some Judy Blume’s aimed at younger readers.

Our Grandchildren loved The Young James Bond books by Charlie Higson, at that age.

Michael morpurgo does some lovely animal stories. Would also suggest Percy Jackson or the frostheart series

Zillah Bethell has two fantastic books out. I read them to the children in school. She is just the right age. The Shark Caller and the Song whisperer. Beautiful stories.

Jacqueline Wilson books - especially the historical Hetty Feather series.
Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz if she wants a bit of adventure.
Enid Blyton - I loved the school stories at that age (Malory Towers and St Clare's).
