Recommendations for diverse books for 5 and up

We live in a diverse city and attend a diverse church but somehow my child has reached the conclusion that if white people are religious they can only be Christian.

Please could someone recommend books (for ages 5 and up) which show white people with different worldviews? Ideally ones where the characters happen to have a particular worldview and the main point of the story is about something like dinosaurs or animals or going on an adventure. The books could be set anywhere in the world.

I've tried searching for books like this and I haven't quite found what I'm looking for so thought I'd ask here for advice.

My daughter is a young-ish four and we're in the US. But as a general matter, there are lots of picture books that feature white Jewish children. Also I haven't looked, but I bet there are plenty of picture books with Scandinavian kids who believe in elves or the Viking pantheon. There must also be lots of books designed to help kids understand death where two kids from the same race have to work through the fact of having different religious beliefs.

Bubbe and Rivka's Best Ever Challah So Far
and Herschel and the Channukah Goblins are a couple of our favorites.

Following with interest, we did quite well on diversity when little but need to renew our efforts now! Mrs Katz and Tush is nice-it’s about an old Jewish widow befriending a young black family in New York.

Have you read The Smeds and the Smoos by Julia Donaldson? It's about blue and red aliens that have lots of prejudice against each other because of their skin colour but then get to know each other properly

Thanks for all the suggestions! I wasn't sure if anyone would reply.

I'll get "Bubbe and Rivka's Best Ever Challah So Far" for now and start a list of books for in the future.

We've already read The Smeds and the Smoos and it is a good story. I'm not sure my child connects the aliens with people though.

If anyone has any other suggestions I'd welcome them. Especially for any contemporary picture books where at least one character who isn't a Christian has either blue eyes or blond hair.
