Hello, I used to enjoy good Choose Your Own adventure as a kid.

Can anyone recommend any good ones for an 8 year DS, he likes spy type stuff, as well as silly books like Dog Man. He's a good reader but wouldn't read lots of dense text. Thanks!

Usborne have an Adventure Gamebook series. My children have enjoyed them.

We have a couple by R A Montgomery Dragonlarks series aimed at that age - we have The Sandcastle and Your Very Own Robot.
Definitely recommend!

Awe thanks OP, I've been meaning to literally write this post for my 8 yo Dogman fan son 🤣. He's probably got enough books for Xmas already but found an old choose your own adventure one of mine the other day so wanted to add one to his stash

Thanks for the recommendations! RA Montgomery really seems along the right lines.

Ooh I've just remembered DS has a Lonely Planet book, Around the World in 50 Ways.
It's a good read and has lovely graphics.

This is just the kind of thing I’ve been looking for! Thanks for the recommendation.
