Teenager books

Any suggestions for books for a nearly 14 year old? My son has been obsessed for ages with Rick Riordan, who I think is brilliant but it would be good to broaden my son’s horizons! Not necessarily the classics, but any suggestions please for different styles of writing? Thanks

The Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz is always popular for that age group.

Maze Runner series

Stephen Fry has a series that is recommended for fans of Rick riordan, they look fab and I have it down for my son (15) for Christmas. He has also been looking for spqr by Mary Beard

Try this site. Its hands down my favorite for book recommendations, and you can search it by age. I have two sons that read a lot and they like most of the books there. She chooses a lot of fun adventure books, but high quality ones, and often historical ones that you can also learn something from.
