Tween Puberty/Social Drama books FOR BOYS

Hello!

Please give me your recommendations for fiction books about 11-13 year old boys navigating starting secondary school, puberty kicking off, social drama and starting to get crushes.

I have a son coming up to this age who likes the Edie Eckhart and Lottie Brooks series (which are humorous school diaries "written by" tween girls) but we can't find anything similar that covers male puberty and the tween boy lived experience at the same life stage that was written since the 1980s (good work from Judy Blume and Sue Townsend, but we are now looking for something that includes text messaging).

Any contenders?

Sorry @BestZebbie all the books I know about are for girls.

Worst Holiday Ever by Charlie Higson and the middle grade books by Simon James Green - Sleepover Takeover is hysterical and Life of Riley. Finn Jones was here is also funny but really sad as a boy deals with death of his best friend. Be careful you don't get his YA titles too early though!
Danny Wallace has written some great books for this age - the day the screens went blank - and also noah's gold by Frank Cotterell Boyce.
Oh, and anything by Jenny Pearson too.
