My 9 year old dyslexic son hates reading and these are the only books that he enjoys on his own (I also read other books to him), but we've run out of books to try! Are there any recommendations? They need to be proper comic book style (i.e not Tom Gates, Treehouse Storey books etc which still have too many words and are 'boring' black and white illustrations).

Books he's already enjoyed are Dog Man, Bunny vs Monkey, Looshkin, Cat Kid, Investigators, Kitty Quest, Ham Velsing.

Thank you! We've tried a few of those but will check out the others.

Elephant and Piggie are great comic books without many words. Potentially aimed at younger children but me and my 10 year old love them as much as my 7 year old.

Also anything by Jon Klassen!

My dc enjoyed both Boffin Boy and Big Nate when he was that age.
