Hi, I run a book club which has teens in it. Looking for a few recommendations for it, bit stuck as I don't want any sensitive themes as the age range is big. I still would like adult novels. For reference recent novels include, Small Things like These, Where the Crawdads Sing, The Queen of Dirt Island and Perfume.

TIA

Jane Gardam: A Long Way From Verona.
Or themed eg detective novels of the past. Eg. Dorothy L Sayers Lord Peter Wimsey books ( Strong Poison, Gaudy Night, Busman's Honeymoon etc), Allingham ' Tiger in the Smoke', Agatha Christie etc

Nothing that would frighten the horses so older novels may be better. Could do sci fi too. John Wyndham etc

Love Aubrey
The Fault in our stars
Both are young adult but I enjoyed them as a not young adult.

I read Day of the Triffids as a youngish teen and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Agree something older
Watership Down
Daphne Du Maurier has some good collections of short stories if you don't want to go for one of her novels.

What about a classic? Great Expectations and Little Women are very accessible.
