I'm looking for recommendations for story books about dinosaurs. Preferably 5 or 6 of them in a series! I have previously bought Harry and His Bucketful of Dinosaurs, and Dinosaur Roar!, so something different please!

My daughter loves my first book of dinosaur stories, miles Kelly. Picked it up second hand and it's got maybe 10 stories in it. Each one starts by introducing the dinosaurs and telling them how to say them.

Thanks, everyone. Much appreciated.

Not picture books but if he likes having stories read to them the Dinosaur Cove series has very short chapters and is plentiful. Plus once you've read them a million times each you child will know them off by heart, have started reading at school and will be able to read themselves. This saving you from the torture of having to read another of those bloody books.

I'm not selling it that well am I.

But honestly they ate good for small dinosaur fans.

Bumpus Jumpus Dinosaurumpus.

My dc all adored this… not least because dh would lead them in a rumpus when he read it as a bedtime story. If I was in the room below I used to wince as I heard the crashing.

It was one of the few picture books that my dc chose to keep, going into their teenage years, putting it alongside The Tiger Who Came To Tea and The Gruffalo.
