Please tell me I didn't imagine this book :(

I can remeber reading a book when I was in my early teens and now I can't find it anywhere & I can't remember the title.

It was about islands they had started flying and landing in places around the world !
One landed in the garden of a broher and sister (I think he was called toby) on a hot day. They spent the day on the island and became stranded on it when it took off and they ended up flying round for a few weeks having diffrent adventures.

The cover had a blue background with an island on it.

Please tell me someone else remembers it

Hmm. Don't know, but I think there's a site where you can put details in of half forgotten books and it comes uip with suggestions. Will see if I can google that for you.
