What books for your DC this Christmas?

What books are you thinking of getting your DC this Christmas?

DC1 16 I was thinking of War Doctor.

DC2 14 has asked for Wuthering Heights.

I'm going to get DS(9) Harry Potter
Looking for recommendations for DD age 5 but possibly Winnie the Witch and also Rabbit and Bear.

I’ve got my 9 year old the first illustrated Harry Potter

My 7 year old I’ve got the Christmas pig.

The new book by Paul O'Grady - Eddie Albert and the Amazing Animal Gang: The Amsterdam Adventure

For age 5 I recommend Hilda and the troll series by Luke Pearson. There are books with pictures and big font and comic books.

My 7yo is getting The Christmas Pig, The Ickabog, and The Firework Maker's Daughter plus a couple of science-y fact books.

The 5yo is getting There's A Ghost In This House, yet another Mog the cat book, a Pokemon Where's Wally-type book, and some early reader chapter books.

Any recommendations for a 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy please?

@daisyducky if you don't already have them, the 'Oi Frog' books are great for that age!

We absolutely love the oi series. Got us through potty training and also makes a fab costume for world book day!

The Empty Stocking is a brilliant pre Christmas one for children of maybe 4+.

I’ve just bought a 2nd copy to read to Gdcs (5 and 6) at bedtime, since they’re staying tomorrow night. I bought it for them last Christmas but they have so many books at home, I don’t suppose dd would ever be able to find it.

DS is 7. I have got:

• a few Tintin comics, eBay was great for bundles + an Asterix one
• the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid, has a white cover
• The Crayons’ Christmas (lots of interactive envelopes inside!)
• Kensuke’s Kingdom
• Wolf Brother

SiL has ordered him a box set of Sea Quest books, as he loves Beast Quest
