Any books to explain why mummy and daddy no longer together for dd who 2.5?

Hi. Wondered if anyone knew of simple book to explain to my dd who 2.5 why mum and dad no longer together - might help me as well?
Has been tough time of it - have exclusion order and interdict - so not nice split in any way. But trying to not be negative about him in front of her as he has accesss on Saturday afternoons. Any ideas???

There's some leaflets and worksheets you can get online called 'My Family's Changing'. They are pretty good, I use them with children I work with in divorce cases (am social worker). The ones am looking at now would be pitched too high for a little one but I think they have different ones. They are from Lord Chancellor's website on

Not sure if that works anymore as my computer is playing up, but should also give some ideas of books on the leaflets
