DD has just finished Holly Jackson's A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. She has started on the second one...
What else might she like? She stopped reading in lockdown and this is the first book that has gripped her, so I want to encourage her......

I’ll ask my daughter in the morning as she loves those books... and is pre ordering the third one...

Karen M. McManus's trilogy that starts with "one of us is lying"

Would the Murder Most Unladylike series be too young? 11 yo here is devouring them.

My DD loved the Holly Jackson novels. She’s also a fan of the Karen McManus trilogy someone else mentioned. Others include the Ally Carter spy series (Gallagher girls books) and the Gail someone Etiquette & Espionage books. She also loves old Agatha Christie books - v plentiful at charity shops usually!

Second McManus books! Also how about Good Girls Die First (what a title….)

Ooh my 13-year-old loved that book too. She’s read a few in a similar vein, I’m trying to remember them ... Girl, Missing was one of them, and I think that’s the first in a trilogy.
