What books would you recommend for a girl who is nearly 7?
She enjoys her fairy tales and is currently enjoying the Mr Men and Little Miss books, she liked dh and I to read her bedtime stories.
I bought her a Mrs Pepperpot book and My Naughty Little Sister book and I gave her my old Peter Rabbit books but she's not interested in them as she still likes pictures in her books.
I have bought her the Roald Dahl books but i'm going to keep these for Christmas. I would like to get her some books for her birthday but not sure what to go for.

Thank you @mogtheexcellent and @Ricekrispie22. Lots of books to look into, I haven't heard of any of those apart from The Worst Witch.
Dd has told me they sometimes read the Horrid Henry books in school and they have to read them by themselves so might have a look at those.

@mogtheexcellent I loved Enid Blyton when I was younger, can't wait to get Dd reading them so I can re-read them. I loved the Faraway tree books

My 7yo likes Enid Blyton - Wishing Chair, Faraway Tree, Secret Seven, Famous Five etc. Also children's classics - Railway Children, Five Children and It, Secret Garden. Just starting Narnia.

Thank you @Ostanovka I loved the Secret Garden when I was little, think I might enjoy reading these books more than Dd lol
