Bible stories for 8 year old

Suggestions please for a Bible Stories book (a requested gift by an 8yr old) preferably with some illustrations. Thank you

Check out 'The Action Bible' by Sergio Carello. Written in comic book style my son loved it when he was that age as he was also.into Avengers/Marvel.

My kids also had the 'Jesus storybook bible' by Sally Lloyd-Jones.

I was going to suggest the action bible too. My 7yo loves it and has learnt so much!

There's a Minecraft version too!

The Jesus Storybook Bibles is fantastic at explaining the whole point of the Bible, and a lovely book.

Children of God by Desmond Tutu - his retelling of 50 bible stories is aimed at the right sort of age range and is better imo than a lot of other options as the stories include more of the great women of the bible than other collections. it's beautifully illustrated too.
