Choose your own adventure books

I’m looking to buy some of those adventure books where you can decide what happens next eg “If you choose to open the treasure chest, turn to page 8”
Looking for something suitable for a 6 year old boy who is just starting on chapter books (purple book band) and also for a boy reading in age 9-12 range.
Any recommendations? Thanks

Hi OP!

There's a series called Your Own Robot (or something like that). That's a really good type to start them off with. As they get older there are a lot more fantasy type books around but they might be slightly scary for a six year old.

The 9-12 year old would be fine though, obviously. I'm pretty sure there are some Goosebumps CYOA books and also the Fighting Fantasy books by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone.

I'm sure there are some others around though too. Hopefully someone will be along soon with some more recommendations.
