DS is just finishing the last book in the How to Train Your Dragon series. He has loved them all and I am wondering what to point him to next? He is 7 and any ideas gratefully received!

Chris Priestley's Maudlin Towers books might tickle his fancy. Has he started Harry Potter?

Thanks I'll look into those. I have suggested Harry potter but he isn't interested in those yet. I'll try again with them when he is older maybe

The Spiderwick Chronicles, they’re quite fun. Maybe when he’s a little older a series of unfortunate events?, the Charlie Bone series, the books look thick but the text is large.

Good suggestions thanks! Spiderwick looks good.

Tom Fletchers Christmasurus or The Creakers

Cressida Cowell has also written a series about wizards.
Not sure how many are published yet tho.

He may like Warrior, by Erin Hunter. Or Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland. But both are aimed at slightly higher age groups.
