Books for a 2 year old girl

I have twin children.
My daughter seems to love audiobooks but I want her to try to read proper books now. She likes to read books that belong to her twin brother mainly. Also she loves hedgehogs and cats too. She asks me questions about hedgehogs and cats. Books that have sound seem to work best. What do you recommend? I’ve been to the local library and we’ve read all the children’s books there now.
My son on the other hand prefers to look at picture books. He enjoys learning about numbers, shapes, colors etc. Also he seems to be obsessed by maps, they honestly fascinate him. Seriously. I think that a book of maps will make a good birthday gift for him.

What does she enjoy reading?

My 2 year old DD loves the Mog books, the Large Family books and any lift the flap or pop up books. My other daughter was obsessed with Going On A Bear Hunt at that age.

We buy our books from The Works and The Book People, who do great deals.

Just join a library and let them choose their own books?

Definitely the Mog books, I work in a nursery and those are a big hit!

Hold on... you read all the children's books in the library??? How small is the library??

Have you read Spot books? Peppa pig (lots of maps and animals!) and The Gruffalo books?

Huh? Don’t you mean your own personal library at home? Because that makes more sense.
Anyway I recommend poking around online to see exactly what you can find. Amazon has a good selection of children’s books for sale.
