Ds2 is a reluctant reader... I think that he loses the plot of chapter books and so he loses interest. Recently we enjoyed Ransom Riggs's Tales of the Peculiar. Can anyone recommend anything similar, or any other short stories for boys? Thanks

If you don't mind something a bit rude, I find the Vicar Of Nibbleswicke a good one for reluctant readers.

It looks and sounds dull, but is a bit of a naughty treat. (I think it says the words shit and piss in it.)

A good one for illustrating that even though something looks boring it really isn't!
