Ds1 is 12. He's what I'd call a reluctant reader though if he gets into something he's quite keen. He read a minecraft series in the summer and loved it. I've tried to get him into Alex Rider but not happening. He's read through dd's wimpy kid series which he really likes. I think it's easy to read but he also likes the real life/ relational side of things. He's a very insightful child and enjoyed reading Kensuke's Kingdom with me, but the language is a bit challenging for him to read for fun. Any recommendations that are easy to read, about relationships/ real life but not too obviously girly/ kiddie?
