Suggestions please (fiction) for a 13 year old boy who likes Rick Riordan

So he's not an avid reader but will read if something catches his fancy. He enjoyed the Percy Jackson series and Magnus Chase and he has requested the Hunger Games books for Christmas. What else could I get him? I looked on the Love Reading site but it wasn't that helpful.

He likes fantasy action / adventure

ds had the same trajectory and went on to Will Hill, Anthony Horowitz. He's 15 now and I see a few by both of those on his shelves... there are others but those two seem to have series that he latched onto.

DS12 also likes Rick Riordan. He has LOVED the Rangers Apprentice and Brotherband series, both by John Flanagan.

10yo DD likes similar. She has read and loved Anthony Horowitz, Patrick Ness, Cassandra Clare, Derek Landy, Michael Grant.

She loves Pratchett too.
