Hi any ideas of a book that talks about being dual heritage but looking 'white'? My daughter has just gone to secondary school and is suddenly aware that although she thinks of herself as mixed race, others have pointed out she doesn't look it. She has been asking if she can have a perm and use fake tan - I think she feels she needs to prove herself to her new peers.
I wanted to get her a book, preferably a novel, which has a character like this or something?
