My kids love graphic novels too! They read mainly in French, but some are also available in English:
Alone by Fabien Vehlmann - scifi world where everyone disappears from the world apart from a few kids
Garfield by Jim Davis - the old classic about the greedy cat is beloved by my kids

...and for anyone whose kids read in French:
KidPaddle & Game Over by Midam - my kids laugh out loud at these, which merge the gaming world with reality
Les Legendaires - band of superheroes, very popular

Sorry went on holiday & forgot this thread when i came back!

LetLoveWin i've heard that french comics are fab & many but sadly we dont read french. I have looked at alone before but i think it's too dark for my two - 9 yr old wouldn't be keen & 6 yr old would have nightmares!

Still hunting... trying Hilda just now but not bowled over so far

Are you anywhere near London? The comic bookshop in Covent Garden has literally thousands of comic books! Many families browsing when I went there :)
